Do I need a card to start?+
No. The 21-day Booking trial requires no card. After creating your account and verifying your email, you confirm the trial securely with Stripe.
What happens after 21 days?+
Add a payment method if you want to continue at $21/month plus applicable tax. Without a payment method, the trial ends without a charge.
Are AI Phone and AI SMS included?+
No. They are optional paid upgrades you can add later. The Booking trial does not include paid add-ons. You can hear POJ’s AI on Escape Proving Ground’s real business line before deciding.
Does POJ charge a fee for every booking?+
No per-booking platform fee. Applicable payment-processing fees, taxes, and optional add-on or usage charges are separate.
Can I bring data from another platform?+
Optional white-glove migration can move eligible business data. What can be moved depends on your source platform and export files. Contact us to review your migration scope.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. Booking renews monthly until canceled if you add a payment method and continue. Review the applicable subscription terms and cancellation timing in your workspace.
What is included with Booking?+
Booking includes scheduling, customer records, team management, communications, gift cards, coupons, waivers, operational tools, and the first active location. Optional products and usage-based services are billed separately.
How does the 21-day free trial work?+
New Booking signups get 21 days free with no card required. Verify your email and confirm the trial securely with Stripe. Add a payment method before the trial ends to continue at $21/month plus applicable tax; otherwise the trial ends without a charge. Optional upgrades are purchased separately. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed terms.
Are AI Phone and AI SMS required?+
No. They are optional add-ons. The booking platform works without them, and a business can add either service when ready.
What can the AI access?+
AI tools use tenant-approved business information, live availability, and explicitly permitted booking tools. Sensitive or unsupported situations follow configured restrictions and human-handoff rules.
Which payment processors can a business connect?+
Guest checkout can support Stripe, Square, and PayPal when the business connects and configures the relevant provider. PineappleOrangeJuice subscription billing is separate and runs through Stripe.
Does PineappleOrangeJuice store card numbers?+
No. Secure card fields and hosted checkout are supplied by the connected payment processor. PineappleOrangeJuice receives transaction status and references needed to operate the booking—not the full card number.
Can customers stay on the business website while booking?+
Yes. Booking embeds are designed to remain on the business website. Supported Stripe and Square card experiences can also remain embedded; PayPal uses the provider’s approval experience.
Can staff permissions be customized?+
Yes. Owners can adjust default permission groups and create named groups that fit their organization, while protected owner-level controls remain safeguarded.
Are calendars and external tools supported?+
Businesses can publish Apple- and Google-compatible calendar subscriptions and configure supported tracking or webhook integrations from the tenant portal.
How do customers get support?+
Signed-in businesses should use the private Concierge area so the request stays attached to their workspace. Sales or access questions can be emailed to staff@pineappleorangejuice.com.
